History

Our history began back in 1952, when Gustavo Sarti, the forefather of the Sarti family, together with his son Piero Sarti, decided to transform a marshy area into a tourist one. This was the birth of Camping Darna, 65,000 square meters of greenery located on the Italian side of Lake Lugano, the ideal place for vacations in Porlezza.
For over 60 years the Sarti family has run Camping Darna with love and passion, aware of fulfilling an important task, that is, making your vacation unique!

Over time Camping Darna has become a trusted location, where guests go year by year because they appreciate the beauty of the place and because, we believe, they feel like a family.
And we are extremely happy about this: we joyfully welcome guests visiting us again and like to think that we are a second home to them where they love to create good memories.
